ACTA

Op 18 januari gingen duizenden websites, zoals wikipedia en Indymedia, op zwart vanwege SOPA/PIPA. ( https://www.indymedia.nl/node/1946 ) Dit waren wetten die in de verenigde staten zouden worden ingevoerd die de internetvrijheid zouden beperken. Die acties waren zo succesvol (en de wetten zo absurd) dat SOPA is tegengehouden. Maar nu komt de grote broer van SOPA meedoen: ACTA ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-Counterfeiting_Trade_Agreement ) Dit nieuwe “verdrag" is in het geheim in elkaar geflanst, en al door de europese landen ondertekend.

TLDR; if your state censors thepiratebay.com, try http://www.br3in.nl (or http://p1r4t3.br3in.nl for extra l33t warez).So BREIN has taken xs4all and ziggo (the two largest dutch ISP's) to court over blocking access to thepiratebay.com and it seems like they won. What this means is the following IP's will be blocked for xs4all and ziggo users:194.71.107.15, 194.71.107.18, 194.71.107.19And the following domainnames will have to be blocked as well (currently unsure on the technical details as to how this should be achieved):
